The Junior Zookeeper Program is an educational opportunity that gives kids aged 7-16 a unique experience. Children in the Jr. Zookeeper Program learn about zoo animal welfare & husbandry, are given real zookeeping tasks, and have opportunities to handle and interact with the animals and the public. Through guided lessons and activities, they gain valuable knowledge, skills, independence and confidence that will stay with them a lifetime.

The Junior Zookeeper program is offered as a half day program Saturday and Sunday; mornings and afternoons.
